It is obvious that you do not know the brand. I own a Silver Spirit since 1997 and the only problem it gave me is a leak in the steering wheel

In all it's so-called-beauty it has one major flaw...it's British. By default, it's an overpriced piece of junk that will do nothing but break down and strand you.

The only VW Bentleys are the Continental Flying Spur Continental GT/GTC. Both models were derived from the VW Phaeton (which has since been discontinued) for two years the Continental Flying Spur VW Phaeton were built together in Dresden, Germany. The W12 Phaeton Flying Spur shared similarities, but were not identical. The original "Crewe" Bentleys are the Arnage, Azure, Brooklands models.

I absolutely love silver shadows! I love their 70's style, and how for years afterwards when rolls royce started producing silver spirits, they kept that sort of styling when they were making the corniche. If you keep your eyes peeled on ebay, then once in a while you can find absolutely fantastic silver shadows I and II with very low mileage for about £5000. I can't wait until I own one.

Glorious, wafting, ultimate sleekness. I have a 1990 Bentley Eight. I simply couldn't find a Shadow that was in good enough condition - they all have partners (a bit like women of their era!). My Bentley is spotless and the ONLY modern Bentley I would consider is an Ararge. The rest are VW's in disguise.
